Eden MIS – Cancellation & Rescheduling Terms
1. Client Cancellation or Rescheduling
The Client may cancel or request to reschedule services by providing written notice to Eden MIS. The following charges represent a genuine pre-estimate of loss and are payable upon cancellation:
14 days’ written notice or more
No cancellation charge shall apply. The Client shall remain liable for any non-refundable travel, accommodation, or third-party costs reasonably incurred prior to cancellation.
7–13 days’ written notice
A cancellation charge equal to 25% of the agreed service value, plus any non-refundable costs reasonably incurred.
3–6 days’ written notice
A cancellation charge equal to 50% of the agreed service value, plus any non-refundable costs reasonably incurred.
Less than 48 hours’ written notice, or failure to attend
A cancellation charge equal to 100% of the agreed service value, plus any non-refundable costs reasonably incurred.
These charges reflect the time reserved, opportunity cost, and preparatory work undertaken by Eden MIS.
2. Failure to Meet Financial Obligations
Where Eden MIS is unable to deliver services due to the Client’s failure to comply with agreed payment terms or other financial obligations, such failure shall be treated as a Client cancellation, and the above cancellation charges shall apply.
3. Travel Disruption and Events Beyond Reasonable Control
The Client shall be responsible for any additional travel, accommodation, or related costs incurred as a result of events beyond Eden MIS’s reasonable control, including (without limitation) severe weather, transport disruption, or other acts of nature.
Eden MIS shall take reasonable steps to mitigate such costs but shall not be liable for unavoidable additional expenses arising from such events.
4. Cancellation by Eden MIS
If Eden MIS is required to cancel a confirmed engagement for reasons within its reasonable control, Eden MIS shall provide the Client with not less than 14 days’ written notice, where reasonably practicable.
In such circumstances, the Client shall only be invoiced for services already performed and delivered up to the effective date of cancellation. No cancellation fee shall apply.
5. General
Nothing in these terms shall affect either party’s statutory rights under applicable UK law.
